Joséphine skirt

This is a skirt that remarks the romantic love story between Napoléon and his first wife Joséphine, the couple exchanged many love letters during their separation and left with us an enormous amount of wonderful love quotes:

“You to whom nature has given spirit, sweetness, and beauty, you who alone can move and rule my heart, you who know all too well the absolute empire you exercise over it!”.

Made with the popular toile de jouy printed fabric that was running through impressive development back in the reign of Napoléon, the pattern shows a flirting couple along with french garden scenery and two side pockets.

Making time of this skirt would be around 3 weeks.

The length of the skirt can be +/- 5 cm depending on whether you prefer shorter or longer length, if you would like to request this please write it on the customer note box when you check out for this item or email us with the detail.

*Note: We recommend you to wear this skirt with a petticoat, however the fabric is thick and stiff it will hold its shape very nicely even without one.
